Incident in Kanowna Belle

All 54 gold miners, caught by a fire in the Kanowna Belle mine in Western Australia state, are evacuated on the surface. They have spent almost all the day in the special dug-outs equipped under the ground, but nobody from them suffered seriously.

The leadership of the largest gold manufacturer in the world - Canadian company Barrick Gold which possesses the mine, is measured to make an investigation of the incident. Inspectors on work safety from the Australian Ministry of consumers’ protection and labor safeties will also make an investigation.
